I've been loving all these new Scorsese interviews, it's really a privilege to get to hear one of the masters talk about his craft while he is still alive

80 years old! And still sharp and has a great sense of humor. Love to see it. Marty is from my hometown, he's a personal hometown hero and inspiration. I would love to meet him and shake his hand and tell him thank you for being inspirational.

Movie was incredible, audio in the film is incredible. Story is gut wrenching and worthy. It’s long, but long because you want to live in the space it creates. Bravo Martin! Thank you!

We're lucky to have Scorcese still making some of the best films of his long-living, massively varied career whilst so eloquently discussing how cinema has changed, his influences and so much more. I don't think any other artist that can explain their craft just as well as they make it. One of the greatest for a reason. We're lucky he's still here

At the age of 80, when others retire from their jobs, the movie he created is incredible!!!!!

I never thought Scorsese would do these kinda interviews but tbh…I LOVE them. Tbh after initially writing this it’s not a shock..he has music documentaries, directed a musical and directed Michael Jackson’s Bad video…music has always played a part in his career.

I could listen to this man speak for the rest of my life and not get bored. He has such a deep knowledge and passion for not just art but for culture as well. This was an excellent interview.

This is one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. Writing down every artist, film, composer that marty mentions was worth it. More research to do now thanks champs ❤
  • He’s one of the greatest film makers of all time…. His movies are some of the best movies ever made. What a gift this man has and what a gift that we can still get to see new art from him. ❤

If anyone wants a 4 hour film school, seek out "A Personal Journey with Martin Scorsese Through American Movies". I've watched and rewatched that thing over and over. Overwhelmingly beautiful piece of work that one.

  • @MrRichDavid
“Killers of the Flower Moon” may be Marty’s best film EVER. It is spectacular, beautiful and sad. It should sweep all awards. Lily Gladstone is a natural like Greta Garbo!
  • @filmmaker610
