This was 16 years ago and Mick is still playing live and better than ever. He looked at this horrible disease in the eye and said "No. Fuck YOU." The man is an inspiration.

Motley fans will accept mick however he is.. hes the underrated badass!! He always put perfection over showmanship.

tour saved mick's life. gave him something to live for. this is awesome

I feel bad for Mick Mars, he the most humble and calm of them all, yet he is always left in the shadows.. MC would be nothing without hes guitar riffs and leads + he is the only guitar player in the band = way more multitasking than it would be with two guitars..... He should get more credit as a person and as a guitar player

I hope everybody understands that TRUE CRUE FANS and especially fans who play guitar are crazy about Mick not out of sympathy for his medical issues, but because he's one of the most badass guitar players ever in the history of heavy music.

Mick Mars can come out playing his guitar in a wheelchair and we will cheer him on the same way we always have, if not more! When it comes down to it were all family & you've all earned the love of your fans.
  • Seeing Mick walk in just made me start crying. I couldn't imagine having that disease due to the pain. He is the most talented in the band and really needs to use his music as an outlet for the rest of his life.
  • 39:50 that´s the most badass statement ever. That fucking smile at the end of "just watch me..." that´s the real face of rock . Well done Mick!!!
  • It's sad to see Mick Mars in such poor health. It dramatically shows that no matter how much money you have, it's not worth a damn if you don't have your health!

I dont suppose anyone considered that Mick saved the rest of the bands lives. As a common entity. Seeing Mick like that was a wake up call for everyone else.

I know Mick has been through A LOT. I can’t even imagine. But it hasn’t affected his playing AT ALL. He still sounds great.

I'm so sorry Mick thought the way he did. He is so loved and respected by the fans, the Crue would have been nothing without him. I was diagnosed long ago at 19, he gets major props from me for doing this tour and everything after..no way could I have done that. Much love to Mick :)

Mick Mars is an incredible human being- so humble and down to earth and to go through all he is with his disease and then the hip surgery and to still be able to do that tour was nothing short of amazing. I can feel the love that Nikki has for him because I do too, he is such an underrated guitarist in my opinion!

I honestly teared up when Mick was talking about how he was worried about how all of the Crüe fans would see him.
