Adrien obeyed his father once again and broke up with Marinette, but his father didn't call her to the mansion, he told Adrien to tell her by himself because he trusts him
besides that, Adrienette are older, thats why Marinette can have a driver's license. The reason why Adrienette wanted a car is because they want to run away from Gabriel and live their life how they want.
They clearly cant walk to the airport so they gotta know how to drive, according to the anime, Adrien has a driver's license, but not Marinette.
