Imagine being a single woman at a bar who sees a guy hanging out with a bunch of dressed up minors and thinking "he's the one".

That’s horrible advice for Yancey. If you date a guy who eats brownies, there will never be any left for me. I mean her.

That little speech to the girl who wouldn't let them in without tickets was incredibly mean spirited. Who on earth come up with this as a supposedly heartwarming moment?
  • @fatgods2921
"What's it like being a swimsuit model?" "Um, cold." Actually laughed out loud at this.
  • @wilberforce95
I'm just amazed that Evan Peters has been playing high-school age guys for 15 years

Are we not gonna talk about how Yancey was a main character along with the other 3 best friends (maybe even more so) yet she didn't make it on the cover of the dvd??? YIKES???
  • @Sanaryy
Just so everybody knows, when this was filmed (2004) the main protagonist, julie, was 16 and the main love interest, steve, was 22. So he was 6 years older then her... also yancy, the fat girl, was also 16 and the guy who liked her was also 22.... also also, staci (the main antagonist) was also 16 and her boyfriend was 29....... great casting choices

Fun fact: Alexa PenaVega who plays the lead actually revealed that she hated working on the film because the other actresses were very mean off-screen and that she didn’t get along with any of them. Now when you think the movie couldn’t get any worse, the working environment was just as horrible.

Fun fact: I watched this movie when I was home on a sick day and for the longest time I thought it was Mean Girls.
  • I love that cliche in movies where when school runs out, everyone throws their papers in the hallways in excitement, but if that happened in reality, the school would go over the intercom and tell everyone that nobody is leaving until all the papers are cleaned up.

15:55 drew mentioned that the actor who played steve was 22, but he didn’t mention the actress’s age, so i looked her up, and she’s six years younger than him. they had a 16 year old and a 22 year old kiss, and then they put it in a kids movie like it’s fine
  • crazy how evan went from this to jeffery dahmer… someone needs to hire him for another lighthearted role like this.. this dudes been playing terrifying characters for years.
  • @samheard7849
As a fat person, I can confirm that this is my only personality trait and I am only happy when I'm in a relationship.
  • @Sean-jl6dc
The fact that Drew was once a child is deeply unsettling to me
  • @mirzas668
Writers: “So how many age gaps do you want?” Director: “Yes.”
  • I’m sorry but “Brownies are a very important food group” was actually a super cute line to me i dont know why
  • @jenknut7106
if i’m being honest if i saw a girl riding a skateboard in a dress and no shoes i’d probably fall in love with her too
  • @joannamastron
"yeah lets make a movie about middle schoolers... also they all drive."
  • @KasaiRayquaza
Fun fact: In the prom scene, the "Green Day lookalike band" is an actual band called Allister. Allister's drummer is Mike Leverence, who is the cousin of my mother. This movie has always been a family favorite, just because you can see our cousin in it (blurrily in the background for the most part, but whatever). You can actually get a sort of good look at him for a split second at 14:15. But (even though this movie sucks) Allister is actually a pretty good band. You guys should check 'em out. Another fun fact: Firefly fans look back at the ticket lady at 12:34. Look familiar? It's River!
