"Sh-Boom" (sometimes referred to as "Life Could Be a Dream") is an early doo-wop song by the vocal group The Chords. It was written and published in 1954, and was a U.S. top-10 hit that year for both the Chords (who first recorded the song) and The Crew-Cuts. The song was also featured in the 2006 Disney Pixar movie "Cars".

Love it David! Taking us on a trip in the way, WAY back machine and I LOVE IT! Just a fantastic rendition of this classic by the Chords! Love the acapella treatment here, and as always you do an immaculate job with your harmonies and layering the vocal parts. Top shelf my friend!!!!!

Very nice cover of this early rock and roll classic. It's always interesting to listen to because the Crew Cuts version is the intersection of three eras of music all at once. On one hand, it's got that early rock and roll sound. On the other hand it's a more classic crooner pop type of vocals despite the doowop arrangement and the post-swing era big band musical arrangement.
