Thank you for having Erin present on her annual selections. I find her inspirational. I can't wait to see the annual garden area take off. Please give us updates over the season.

I’ll take all the Impatient Gardener I can get 😂 Great presentation. Especially the reminder that homegrown annuals may not look ideal but they will take off and look incredible when planted in-ground or in containers (given some water, sun, and fertilizer of course 😉). I’ve seen that truth bear itself out every year! Also, love adding herbs and edibles to containers. Black opal basil, dark leaved ornamental peppers and Swiss chard make great additions. The chard is very bold and has such lovely, brightly colored stems.
  • I have been subscribed to Erin’s You Tube channel for quite awhile and love to watch everything she does. Her casual style is very liberating and she always makes me feel like my garden doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. This was a great presentation. I wish I would have known about it as I live in the area and definitely would have loved to have been there. Is there a way to be notified about speakers?

I just witnessed a cool color orange and pink in my garden this season, and the combo looks so good together!

Thanks for sharing! Such valuable points about placing taller see-through plants up front. And someday that tassel flower will be on my list to try!
  • Orange and pink look fabulous in interior and graphic design so I really don’t understand why it’s considered a faux pas in garden design. Just have to use the correct shades together, same as any other color combo.
