El lirio araña (Hymenocallis littoralis) es una planta perenne y bulbosa de la familia de las Amarilidáceas originaria de México y Guatemala.El lirio araña presenta un bulbo de 7-10 cm de diámetro. hojas ensiformes de 60-70 cm de largo por 3-3.5 cm de ancho. Las flores son grandes, blancas, con olor a vainilla, sésiles, dispuestas en la extremidad de un escapo áfilo en umbelas 4-8-floras. El tubo del perigonio es de 15 a 17 cm de largo y los segmentos lineares de unos 10 cm
Hymenocallis littoralis, usually called the Beach Spider Lily, is an astonishingly beautiful bulbous perennial with long strap-like leaves and gorgeous white flowers which have long narrow reflexed spider-like tepals attached behind the central transparent staminal cup. It is prolific flowering and will bear multiple stems in the summer and its exotic beauty is enhanced by its sweet yet soft fragrance.
It it endemic to Central America including Mexico, Guatemala and Columbia where it is often found along the coast and waterways, its roots enjoying the combination of abundant water and a well-drained sandy soil. The species was first described in 1763

स्पाइडर लिली (हाइमेनोकैलिस लिटोरेलिस) मेक्सिको और ग्वाटेमाला के मूल निवासी Amaryllidaceae परिवार का एक बल्बनुमा बारहमासी पौधा है। स्पाइडर लिली में 7-10 सेमी व्यास का एक बल्ब होता है। एंसिफॉर्म के पत्ते 60-70 सेंटीमीटर लंबे और 3-3.5 सेंटीमीटर चौड़े होते हैं। फूल बड़े, सफेद, वेनिला-सुगंधित, सेसाइल होते हैं, जो 4-8-पुष्पों की छतरियों में एक टेपरिंग एस्केपमेंट के छोर पर व्यवस्थित होते हैं। पेरिगोनियम ट्यूब 15 से 17 सेमी लंबी होती है और रैखिक खंड लगभग 10 सेमी।
زنبق العنكبوت (Hymenocallis littoralis) هو نبات معمر منتفخ من عائلة Amaryllidaceae موطنها المكسيك وغواتيمالا. يبلغ قطر زنبق العنكبوت 7-10 سم. أوراق نباتية بطول 60-70 سم وعرضها 3-3.5 سم. الزهور كبيرة ، بيضاء ، برائحة الفانيليا ، لاطئة ، مرتبة عند طرف ميزان متدرج في 4-8 أزهار. يبلغ طول أنبوب البريجونيوم من 15 إلى 17 سم والقطع الخطية حوالي 10 سم.
