It cracks me up, every time an IV goes in a patient's arm, A&E editors make sure to dramatize it with a nice crescendo from a likely sampled sound. IVs are not that big of a deal compared to what the patients have dealing with.

Severing a finger in a door isn’t that uncommon. When I was around five my right pinky got severed after my older brother slammed a cabinet door on it. Thankfully the doctors managed to reattach it and now I can move it like normal although one can tell it was stitched up.
