Hugs are the truest form of giving and receiving! Did you know that the way we hug someone can mean a lot of things? Body language reveals what we may not directly express. This is often the case in regards to the way we make eye contact, our standing posture, and how we choose to walk. But, what does body language say from the way you hug others?

Previously, we also made a video on the different types of kisses and what they really mean:    • 9 Types of Kisses And What They Reall...

Timestamp listed in the description :_PSICheers:. We normally don't include timestamp in the description. Don't forget to watch the entire video! Also, we also made interesting video on the different types of kisses and what they really mean: https://youtu.be/7OUJKFdMHKQ

ya missed the most important hug of all: THE AUNT HUG Definition: A hug given by an aunt and usually is able to break your spine from the sheer strength of the hug. These hugs usually occur at a family reunion, Christmas, or any other event that is cheerful.

One time when I was feeling depressed a friend of mine told me about the effects of a long hug. We then proceeded to hug each other tight and both counted to 20, loudly together. It was a beautiful moment and I will cherish it forever. ❤️

New hug unlocked! The busy hug: a hug that lasts about as long as it takes for you to notice it's happening. By the time you react, they've already left the room or continued doing what they were doing

This made me want to share the most memorable hug I’ve had in my life so far. There was this time when all the stress I piled up crushed down on me and I hid away and cried at school, it took me a whole period to stop, but then when I was done and left my hiding spot my friend came from behind and hugged me, really tight, tears flowed down again. She never liked physical contact so the hug was extremely surprising, for a moment I felt pathetic, but then the next I felt warm and comfortable and everything would be alright. Soon a lot of my friends came and it became a group hug, we all just stood there and they hugged me while I cried some more. Now we’re in different countries and I miss them so much. Thank you for reminding me of this wonderful hug I shared with my wonderful friends I miss dearly.

I think you missed the “I’m trying to strangle you but in a friendly way” hug, when I hug my friend and end up purposely strangling them for like 15 seconds

The best hug I ever received happened when I was fifteen. I was in choir, and it was the last concert of the year. Everyone was hugging each other and bidding farewells to each other. One hug I received came from a boy who was eighteen. He wrapped his arms around me and held me to his chest. He also told me in a warm tone of voice that he always wanted to hug me. This type of hug wasn't mentioned in the video.

I always do the “flirty hug” usually with friends and family, but the “long hug” is definitely with my best friend <3

New hug unlocked! Awkward hug: a awkward hug is when someone hugs you but you don’t hug back until you realize they are hugging you basically a delayed hug but you still feel safe and want more hugs

“Have you ever experienced one of these types of hugs? How did it feel?” a tear trickles down my face
  • My friend loves hugs a lot, he hugs me like 10 times a day, usually he will wrap his arms around me from the side, and not let go, he's super clingy, but its adorable. We hug so much to the point where people see us and think were dating, even though we're not.

"Did you know that most hugs are brief, lasting between only five and ten seconds?" Hugs between me and everyone else: one second

  • you forgot the dad hug the dad hug: A hug from a father figure that breaks all your bones, makes you loose breath, and has you coughing for air afterwards. Normally accompanied by a pat on the back once the process is over.

i’ve had all 6 hugs. My crush I had in high school when i was in HS, she once gave me a mix of the flirty and long hug. But i didn’t see her about to hug me. She squeezed me as hard as she could, it was the best hug i have ever felt in my life so far. i felt so relaxed and comfortable that this amazing feeling pulse happened in my entire spine. I don’t know how to describe it.

i had a friend on school who always gives hugs and kisses. I remember that it just felt really nice and warm. although i don't hug back since I'm not the type of person who boldly shows affection, i really appreciate that she does that randomly. It honestly make me feel better and is just therapeutic. I haven't seen her for like 2 years now because of covid and we kinda grew distant , but I really appreciate her existence and friendliness towards me even if i never told her that❤️

The flirty hug: A regular hug that I’m pretty sure every friend does with each other when they hug.

Since when my best friend has started to recover from her depression and we started hanging out more often, i always hug her like in a long hug before we say bye 'cause I know she doesn't have many friends now and she needs my support and I want her to feel well and loved (in a friendly way) when we're together: I want to be there for her so she never needs feel that bad again in the future
