Really coming together Ben, looking great, amazing what you have achieved. Props to the awesome team of contractors that have helped on this project. In a couple of years with some trees dotted about and once all signs of construction have grown in, the character of the place will really start to develop. Somewhere your Dad would have loved to sit down and fish with his lad I'm sure. Best wishes to you and your Mum.

you are livin' the dream I always wanted a pond like this! but one big difference I would stock it on my ownsome by fishing first netting anything and everything small plants. micro-life, small fry in spring, smaller freshwater fish like sticklebacks, getting the shore planted, planting lilypads, adding feeder fish by mass catching them by any means possible and letting them spawn and proliferate for about a year or two then the monsters come in tench, carbs, barbels, and last perch, pike, and, sanders and the ecosystem would be done! and you would just need to add koi over the years they just add that wow! part to the pond.
