Love him or hate him, its heartbreaking to see Barney (or any player) deteriorate from the outstanding player he once was. I guess the schedule, travelling, politics and pressure all took its toll eventually. I hope he continues to make a decent living on the exhibition circuit.

Absolutely heartbreaking to hear Barny speak like that at the end, the man clearly needs professional help. You’ve had a career most players would do anything for Raymond, you’ve been a credit to the sport and you’ve conducted yourself with pure class throughout. Chin up mate, your a legend whether you think it or not.

Durrant by 2019 GSOD he was the BDO world champion. Rules are if you get to at least semis in the BDO world champs u qualify for GSOD... So what is Smith on about. Barney looked so so hurt... I felt for the guy

Barney's final interview is really quite upsetting. He doesn't care about all the success he's had in the past, he just thinks he's an amateur, and he thinks his whole life is a disappointment. It begs the question why he's coming back to q school this year

It's so sad hearing Barney talk about he doesn't even have the energy to stand up anymore etc. He should have retired a year ago, it's painful to watch him now tbh. He looks so devastated and down about his deterioration 😞 It's such a shame.
