Thoughts on Kayla's ears: she has two of them.

it is so nice hearing a public figure talk about insecurities. it helps my mental health to hear that i'm not the only one biting my nails and similar. we love you so much in all forms and the way you are, doesn't matter what you look like at all <333

I literally JUST made my whole family and the ground floor of our house (its a walk out basement which is nearly impossible for me to replicate so I’m just going to make it a separate house). I casted the house on the sims to our tv and gave the family a tour and my sister left because it made her so uncomfortable how close it was to the real thing lmao

I'm a CAS simmer and I'm the opposite! I can make sims look real and can style them but building frustrates me so much I have no idea where to start! I've actually made you Lilsimsie but I'm too shy to post to the gallery Edit: Ok I put a short video out where you can see my Lilsimsie, I really want her to see it ✨
  • I wish the socially awkward trait would make it so sims get negative mood let’s about socially interacting or going to events instead of making them just have a bad relationship with everyone. Because at least in my experience, no one had ever hated me because I’m socially awkward and I’ve always had lots of friends. I just get like really anxious that I’m gonna mess things up and I do sometimes mess up what I’m saying but that doesn’t lead the other person to like me less. So I think it would be cool if they just got uncomfortable or nervous in social situations. I enjoy going to parties but you can bet at the same time I am very uncomfortable and internally freaking out about how to interact with people. And maybe they could of also made it so when social interactions fail that the sim gets sad or embarrassed.

i just sat down with a bowl of pasta and my computer to play the sims PERFECT timing

Literally, what you said about how we amplify our insecurities... that is the main reason why I struggle to make my simself. I don't really have a problem making others (except sometimes I run out of creative juices and lose interest). I just don't feel like anything I do with my simself is right.

Simsie: hates red Also Simsie: wears a red shirt

All jokes aside, Kayak should give herself more credit on her sims, all of them are pretty decent 😇 Kayak is a nickname her twitch chat came up with 😂

hearing you talk about your anxiety so candidly is inspiring as a teen who's been struggling with pretty severe anxiety and other mental health issues for YEARS
  • It really helped to have my partner design me and I helped design her sims self. She’s better at CAS for sure but more than that I think it helps to have someone who loves you and looks at you a lot design your sims self. We’re all often our often biggest critics, and while our honesty can center on the flaws we see in ourselves, their honesty often focuses on the parts of the us they find most appealing. It helps myself esteem a lot to regularly see how attractive I am in her eyes.
  • The "let's be honest with ourselves" part had me laughing out loud for 5 minutes straight lmfao
  • @PuffleFuzz
“Let’s be honest with ourselves, I don’t wanna think about it” such a mood. I just go skinny everything.
  • tip for anyone else wanting to make themself: take a front facing photo and a side profile and switch between them when needing reference. also take advantage of dragging parts of the body instead of using presets i managed to make a pretty accurate sim self by doing this :)

Honestly for me I could never make myself in the Sims without CC.

I'm a digital artist and honestly, I spend 90% of my time ingame in CAS. I love making sims of fictional characters specifically, and if they're from something live action or have a real person's face attached to their image, I find as many references from different angles of the person's face as I can! I have folders on my phone full of headshots and screenshots of people I've made sims out of, easily a dozen photos of the face and several of their full bodies per person! On top of that, my Simself is my favorite sim to play with. It's like a little personalized dress-up doll, in a way. I'll make little tweaks to them over time to make them look more like how I look in the moment (dyed hair, haircut, gained or lost weight, etc) and it's kinda helped me with some body issues! My Simself isn't a 100% accurate depiction of me irl, but it's really close, so seeing them be confident in clothes I don't wear or things like that make me think better of myself :)

4:30 Evil Demon Lord : "You are PUNY and WEAK !" Simsie : "Yeah sounds about right"
  • You're 100% right about us amplifying our own insecurities, i made my simself and thought it looked alright but my partner made my simself and i thought it was too cute to look like me. it's truly sad that we have this mentality about ourselves :( also the "let's be honest with ourselves" part had me cracking up for the past five minutes
  • For party wear I always have three or two options. A family friendly one and picking up people at the bar
