Hey! Hope everyone is staying safe and doing well. Is anyone surprised by this? Is anyone surprised that HiTop Films didn’t love Zack Snyder’s Justice League, wasn’t a fan of The Snyder Cut. How many HiTop Films Batman videos (Batman Video Essays?) have there been? How many HiTop Films Zack Snyder videos have there been? How many HiTop Films Justice League? Is anyone surprised that the title of this video is I Didn’t Love Zack Snyder’s Justice League (But That Doesn’t Matter). I know I’m not. I was never going to love Justice League, because I was never in love with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, Batman V. Superman, I was never in love with his characters. This is a more personal video, than a Zack Snyder’s Justice League Review. This is a video, video essay, rant, whatever, about my relationship with Zack Snyder and his DCEU movies. Consider this a sequel to Batman Does Not Kill and hopefully you’ll be able to consider this growth as I do. Thank you as always for supporting me and my tasteless movie takes. Much Love.

  • "When I was 13yo, I saw Man of Steel" Why does this guy feel older than me when we're the same age...
  • @garrito1016
Regardless if you loved it or hated it, I'm just glad Zack Snyder got to finally complete his finished project. For Autumn.
  • 6:20 “The critics, audience, pretty much everyone prefers his FILM to their PRODUCT.” Dude that line is brilliant🔥
  • @thesnowyowl7771
Zach's cinematography feels like he seamlessly pieced together hundreds of epic comic panals into one movie and that is respectable. Marvel makes more faithful movies thematically, but Zach makes movies that actually look like comic books truly brought to life

This film is presented in a 4:3 format to preserve the integrity of HiTop Film's creative vision.
  • @ne3856
Even though you didn't like it, it's always great to see a director's true vision.
  • @solaile
I disagree with his opinion. But I absolutely RESPECT his honesty. Everybody should have the right to express their thoughts on a movie. Movies are subjective, just like any other form of art.

I don’t love Snyder’s Batman, but I can just enjoy him as a badass Batman. I stand behind you that he doesn’t kill, I just view it as a different universe.
  • “Faith, Alfred. Faith.” I love Batfleck’s character arc from Batman vs Superman to Justice League. In BvS, he was broken, hateful, and alone. But, Superman’s sacrifice showed him that there’s still good in the world. In Justice League, he’s rejuvenated and enjoys the company of others. He believes in the team, the people around him, he cares for all of them. The final scene with Bruce standing outside, smiling and looking at the sunset, that was brilliant. He knew his parents were proud of him, and he finally found peace.
  • I dislike these movies, but I'm glad he got to tell his own story. That's the most important part...right?
  • This version of Steppenwolf is probs my favorite character in the movie. Guy's just trying to redeem himself and be the cool uncle! The problem is that he's trying to be Darkseid's cool uncle, and his redemption consists in enslaving everything to Darkseid. But the intention is there!
  • I have a newfound respect for Henry Cavill after I found out he built his own PC. Superman is a gamer.

Me after seeing the Snyder cut and looking back at BVS and MOS: Perhaps I treated you too harshly.
  • @Thunder_Bird0
I really enjoyed the Snyder cut. I’m the kind of person who likes Snyder’s style of film making. I’d rather have a niche film only a minority of people enjoy then a huge “people pleaser” film made for everyone.
  • I never felt your Snyder rant in the ‘Batman Does Not Kill’ video to be childish and petty. I mean, sure, it played up the humor and the fanboy angle, but it was not unfounded criticism that some others resort to.
  • @jn2263
Can we talk about how neglected green lantern has been? My boy had one bad movie and now he is never to be seen apart from a tiny reference in a 4 hour movie.
  • @John_Doh
Please don't ever be sorry for being passionate about movies and then passionately sharing your viewpoints on them. Regardless of whether anyone agrees with your critiques (I disagree with about half of them and align with the rest), you always explain your contention articulately and in a logical fashion, and from one film geek to another, I appreciate that shit immensely.
  • @Sharpe1502
Apparently Zach Snyder is one of the nicest guys in the industry. I’m glad he was able to finish his project.
