Here's my very first video of 2024! So please enjoy!

Also, if you haven't already heard, Steamboat Willie is now in the public domain! So that means WE, as a society, own the rights to this short!

Plus, I do NOT own or endorse the Rap Battle Parody clip that I briefly used in this video. In other words, it falls under fair use!!

Happy New Year everyone, and I'll see you all in my next video!

Happy New Year, Trevor! And Steamboat Willie is a timeless classic.
  • You're reaction to steamboat. Willie is priceless, especially with the exclamations. I have seen Steamboat Willie, and it is quite enjoyable, I do love the music, and as for the animal cruelty, one of them can be a mix bag, others are decent and others are either laughable or just plain weird. For a Disney short for being the first to have some sound it's enjoyable, I guess although the beginning will always be iconic.

Hey Trevor great mini review for the Micky Mouse short Steamboat Willie with its most famous scene with Micky whistling 😗 the iconic theme song which has been the opening to many of the recent Disney films and despite its flaws and stereotypes it’s still a very enjoyable cartoon and a great timeless masterpiece thanks for sharing this and Happy New Year 🎊🎆 to you and look forward to seeing more from you in 2024 👍❤️
  • Brilliant roast of Disney! Bad time for them but they have certainly improved over the years with their writing. Happy New Year!

Even though this is a classic short, Mickey abusing those animals was uncalled for...

  • Nice reaction to Disney for the Steamboat Willie Short in the public domain I enjoyed it! It's good to see the bad things about these shorts Disney makes because they are Disgraceful, Disgusting, and Despicable. And my thoughts on this short are average like you and Happy New Year Trevor!
  • @DylanLTindall
I really enjoyed your review on this. Yeah, I agree with you on the animal torture. But I do understand that like a lot of these old films, it was in a different time period people didn’t know these stereotypes were wrong. If this film would’ve been made today, those animal instrument scenes would likely not be included.
  • Honestly. I also learned about the public domain in the news. and honestly. I'm not surprised. because disney nowdays is fucked up with movies and series.
  • @MutePenguin1155
Happy new year Trevor And to anyone who’s reading this, Have a fantastic Year because you deserve it 💙🙏
  • The first time I got to know Steamboat Willie was when I first saw the Classic Walt Disney Animation Studios logo, which had that iconic theme tune. When I first saw the Animal Cruelty scenes, I was like… What has Mickey gotten into? I can agree with you that while this is a true classic, it does have its flaws, obviously.
  • @ajawalker2290
Happy New Year Trevor buddy! 2024 is starting off great for you so far I hope!

I don't really support Disney's Buena Vista anymore but I do support 20th Century Studios instead and I am keeping my fingers crossed for them to take charge of Disney's distribution as soon as possible as well as worldwide home entertainment including physical home media .
