    Great video and really appreciate the info in subtitles! My niece is a flight nurse for PHI Air Medical in Balto. I have often watched her heli take off but never knew what the engine and rotor sounds meant. Loved seeing the puffs of white smoke and the rotors angle for lift too! I’ll watch/listen for all of it. Thanks!

    Some of the first information transferred from EMS to Flight Medics is the individuals weight. I've witnessed on a few occasions where the bird became airborne yet would go up and down several times over the LZ to shed fuel weight. I love watching helicopters in action but rest much easier once they've landed in their designated location.
