Hi guys and thanks for stopping by! My name is Melissa and I have been a police officer for just about 15 years now! I am currently a lieutenant in a large metropolitan police department and I created this video to share with you my new police gear in my last allotment. My agency contracts with Galls so you can find any of this gear at www.galls.com! I also have links below for the North American Rescue medical equipment!

Thank you so much for your love and support! I can’t wait to see you in my next video!

And don’t forget to follow me over on Instagram! - copmom911

Always,

Melissa

Hello Lt. Sgt Doug. That nylon starts off looking nice, but after 5 years, it frays, looks bad with snow, salt, on it. And rain makes it smell terrible if it gets wet! That is why our Chief stays away from nylon. Just leather or fake leather is acceptable at our dept. I still use Safariland Sam Brown belt with the buckle or the 94 belt without it. Mine is all basket weave. Other officers and Sgt.s and Lts. Use plane black or basket weave. Great show, Lt. Keep safe and watch your 6.

Lieutenant I am a 25 year veteran of my Suburban Dept. Out here in Wisconsin! A Sgt. FTO and armor. Do not got to nylon and Velcro. They get ice, salt and blood on them and look terrible. I had one working armed security in 1992 and going to college. They suck! They tear and fray and the sticking comes loose. Please don't use it stick with your sam brown belt. I have mine in basket weave all Safariland. Our Chief says no Velcro or nylon! Get a Bianchi soft pants belt they run 25.00 bucks up to 55 bucks. I had uncle Mike's soft duty belt. The plastic buckles kept breaking!

I personally gave up on belt keepers a while back. I find that with a leather duty belt and and under belt that I don't need them. It's super convenient to just be able to remove your gear quickly. I have never had an issue even when fighting in the ground. I did try some of the fancier types of lighter weight duty belts, but I never liked them. I found the y frayed pretty quickly and I had to use belt keepers with them.

the 5.11 sierra bravo inner belt is the best one. thinner than the galls stuff and flexible. I have had the same one for over 5 years. the 5.11 sierra bravo Duty belt is also thinner and better made than the one you showed. best of luck stay safe
  • Melissa, just go back to Galls and order one of the Stinger holsters from them. I use a Polytac as does my wife, they have them for these as well. Above all, stay sharp!
