Needed more cowbell! In all seriousness though that was awesome

Maybe I'm an idiot... But weren't there many "first nations" countries across modern day Australia.... Each with their own culture and language etc etc.... Meaning, "how/why did you choose this specific dialect"???
-
YESSSSS!

I remember when Hine Wehi Mohi sung our New Zealand anthem in first nation language of Aotearoa @ the 1999 Rugby World Cup in England/Scotland, it was a shock to every1 system. Now, it's common place and mostly every sings it New Zealand. I'm sooooo proud of Australian rugby for doing that for the First Nations people of Australia and for themselves, much love. Still won't beat the All Blacks lol nah jokes

Quade & Beale must start the last game

great 👍

Would be nice for the local Yugarapul to have done this, oh well, when you play on the Gold Coast they might be able to come down from Brisbane to do it, who won again?

The English language lyrics written buy a Scottish school teacher how had emigrated to the The Sydney suburb of Clydbank from Greenock in Scotland he wrote the first verse on the bus back home from an evening out where national songs from around the world where played he wrote the first verse on a peace of scrap paper he had in his coat pocket. But it was not for decades after his death the song was adopted as Australia's national anthem. It's a pity he was long dead buy the time it became the national anthem. Good luck Australia from Scotland.

Really love the idea... Shame it sounds so bad

What a joke australia is

Deferring to a particular racial group like is very sinister. Who is pushing this? They need to be named.

It sounded bad, it's weird to cram culture where it doesn't belong (Rugby is not an indigenous sport) and the saddest part is that now that this is a feature for every Australia home game 🤮no one will have the balls to criticize it for fear of being seen as racist. We also don't need Drew Mitchell cramming his political opinions pre-game about how we ought to go one better and establish an ethnic minority of indigenous advisers to oversee our democratic system. It's rugby, not politics.

Why don't they just focus on playing rugby and not this woke bs
