THIS is how you play live, kids. R.I.P Big Stu

What an incredibly talented person he was. The world missed out on the rest of the story...I still love these songs 40 years later.
-
Genius. Saw Big Country live in 82 in Brighton. No band has touched them since or ever will. RIP Stuart. Thoughts with his family.
-
I'm more into Rock and Metal but I saw Big Country twice in 1986, 1996 and three times this decade with Bruce Watson taking more of the lead. All of the gigs were fantastic and Stuart Adamson was simply am amazing lyricist, Vocalist, guitar player and entertainer. Truly one of the greats. but lets not forget about Bruce, Tony and Mark. Great tunes and a great band.

Best guitarist, singer and songwriter ever.....Stuart was the man.....from the start to the end.....much missed....if only he knew how much he was loved things could have turned out differently.
-
All of us who were lucky enough to see Big Country live over the years truly KNOW we saw something utterly magical, unique and unrepeatable. RIP STUART - GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.

My lad plays this to me, he is 19, , I am 50, he plays it tone and pitch perfect,,,,,,,,,,cos he loves the song,,, and rightly so, Best band of all time.

not under-rated. maybe not appreciated, or known. For those of us who were fortunate to see BC in their glory, we would rate them differently. Best band I've ever heard, best band live and best group I've ever tracked. I still try to remember there are people out there who don't have the fortune I have in experiencing BC since 1983. So, I try to enlighten.

Seen Stuart Adamson play with the Skids and Big Country. He knew how to get a crowd moving from the front to the back of any music venue. Puts new bands to shame.
-
Just simply the best band ever. Fact.
-
I saw the Buffalo Skinners tour at Saratoga Winners in upstate, NY. Big Country's music means more to me than anyone will ever know.
-
I just recently got into this amazing band ! All i ever knew was the "in a big country" song and oh my god this band was brilliant ! I've had their greatest hits cd in my dash for months ! RIP Stuart you were a missed genius !!
-
This would have made an awesome introduction to a live album.
-
It sucks knowing that this song has a whole new meaning because of his suicide. It also sucks in a way that his death drew me into listening to their catalogue in the first place. Good and bad because it’s great music
-
God he had such a beautiful voice.
-
Not many words needed here. A great performance of a very good song. Stuart Adamson may be gone but Big Country's music will endure through the years.
-
They had a lot of great songs - however - the "buffalo skinners"were their masterpiece . So sad Stuart left this world before his time. All the best to his family and friends.
-
This would have been a great intoduction to a live album. Great guitar work by Stuart.
-
One word GENIUS!!!!!!!!

what a man and what a band there will never be anyone like them and him again.
