Abso-freaking-lutley! If you don't know how we got here, or the events that led up to where you are now. you can never have understanding about what is going on today. History is sooo important, and I find it thrilling to discover something that I hadn't put together before. It's all related.

Saw it last night. Good video. When your Reivers were aggressive, they produced what we think of as Scottish culture. Wallace is a good example.

I love that show! American culture has dominated the whole globe by now, because we are an aggressive nation. I can only think of one great peaceful nation in all of history, but can name you dozens of aggressive ones without thinking to hard.

thank you for your input. if you examine Greek civilization carefully, you'll find what I said about them is true. there may have been mitigating factors that influenced this trend, however, I believe it to be true.
