I've always used Asus products, they have never let me down, and I am due to upgrade my monitors soon so they will be my first port of call. Keep up the good work grant, and have a great weekend 🙂

I've asused the situation, and this video displays a refreshing rate of accuracy.

I know this is a video about monitors, but I had no idea about the “New Main Window” feature until I saw you had multiple windows of Blender open. :thanksdoc:

Great video, Grant. Not too many of these on YouTube, so thanks very much (:

Oh dear... I needed this video last week. Just received the 2 monitors I ordered. 😂 Got the MSI MPG321URX. Hopefully I did pretty well choosing. Thanks for the tips!

Glad to see you hyping the Pro art monitors. I was at my friend's recently and he asked, "Hey do you need any monitors?" and I was like "Yeah sure, man, why not?" and then he brought out 2 open-box-but-unused 24" Asus Pro Art monitors. As soon as I saw all the features listed on the boxes I was like, "Whoa, I think these will be perfect for all the art stuff I do," and reviews online seemed to back that up too. Talk about getting lucky!

I second the calibrator. The one I used I cannot mention (I guess YT filter) but they have improved my photography printing results. What I see on screen is almost exactly what comes out of the professional-level printer at the college, which is also where I checked out the calibrator. My Calibration lasted at least 2 years, haven't printed since but it still appears to be in range. The downside is you have to set it when at a certain brightness level.

Hello Grant, I use a GigaByte AORUS FI32U and I am very happy with it. Nice IPS Panel and great colors... Only QHD, but thats ok for me...

I'm currently using a Gaomon pen display and an Asus ProArt 27" 2k combination. The Gaomon PD-2200 is the only Cintiq alternative I've seen that shares a pen model with a graphic tablet (the S620), which means I can work on both screens without dropping the pen or changing to the mouse.

Fab video Grant! I will note that those PA329CRVs are 60hz only, although that does add up to 120hz overall as you have 2 😅

Can I give more than one like to this video?
  • Just get a monitor which supply monitor drivers too. And you will be fine. Also if you are beginner I don't think you will have that money to buy 4k or qhd . Go with 1080p with anti glare screen or 1366x768 with anti glare. And most important only consider monitor which supply monitor driver. Sitting on generic pnp drivers for monitor is not a good deal.
  • I have the XP-Pen 13.3 pro and have always struggled with my images appearing too yellow on other screens and unfortunately I’m on a MacBook which doesn’t allow for individual color manipulation of additional displays (lets me pick color profile though)….unless I missed something in the last few yrs of trying to figure it out. I’m in the process of buying a Wacom cintiq pro and new computer. Do you recommend the Mac desktops for digital artists?

Recently got a 24" Proart pa248q for $140 from ebay. It's an older model, very heavy, but beautiful colors once calibrated using windows color calibration wizard. I did had some difficulty trying to match my 15.6" xp-pen drawing tablet. I later realized that the gambit from my tablet is darker than the Proart, something to keep in mind is that brands will sometimes had different color calibration. Anyway, got it close enough for my taste.
