  • The argument that they played teams with injured stars just means those teams have a convenient excuse for getting their asses kicked. The C's had a star player injured and did a lot less whining.
  • Congrats to the Celtics; they deserved it for their hard work. I love the Jays. Brown definitely deserved Finals MVP. He made it a mission to show the world that the 300 million contract the Celtics gave to him was worth it.
  • And I like the attitude of the Boston Celtics players who don't want to care what the media says about them and stay focused on what's on the basketball court?
  • The Celtics play as a team and don’t rely on one or two players. Nobody tried to be selfish or play hero ball. They also care more about defense which is why they won ultimately. Their starting five are all just as good on defense as offense.
  • "Other teams had injured stars." "They've never been challenged." "The East was weak." These are YOUR problems, not Boston's and to wave it around like a victim flag does not make Boston's chip look worse. What it does is make everyone else look worse.
  • Mavs path to finals were great but it doesnt change the fact boston was still the most dominant team this season
  • @DangerDyl_
humilated the NBA and had them all crying! love it lmao.
  • In the words of Jayson Tatum🏀what are they going to say now.🏀🏀

every single word of this was spot on. I found it funny that the media said the '24 team won't win because the '22 team didn't, while simultaneously saying the '24 team wasn't battle tested.

JB has been flourishing with the left hand for the entire season and JT, contrary to what the box score monkeys say, was great the entire playoffs with his playmaking and constantly opening up the opposition defense. Add to that the fact that every single Celtic player is a fantastic defender within their system, which is flexible enough to work against literally anyone (barring maybe Jokic), they should all deserve much more credit than they're given. One might almost think that the talking heads only watch box scores and highlights... oh wait. That's all they do...

Team basketball > "Best" back court in the NBA
  • One of the most dominant teams from start of the season to the end in NBA history
  • celtics were without KP throughout most the playoffs but people don't like to mention that
  • Love it. Definitely kept the receipts. LFG Celtics🍀💚
  • Kobe was given 09 championship....they were down 14 points with 10 minutes to go, and then kobe scores 17.....FROM THE FREETHROW LINE.....he just spun as he elbowed his defender, dropped his shoulder, drove to the hoop, and put up a shot as he ran into someone...FOUL, SHOOTING 2....so bullshit
  • @TimeNap
Stef and Klay in their primes wasn't even that long ago! People saying "The best backcourt in history" or "best offensive backcourt" is just wild.  3 Point shooting: Stef/Klay - 43%/41% | Kyrie/Luka - 39%/35% Klay was also a good defender (got DPOY votes + made 2nd team defense) and had a top 10 MVP season while Stef turned in some of the most efficient seasons in NBA history and won unanimous MVPs.
  • It's crazy that Skip is dumb enough to call any team "Finals frauds" for losing to the GSW. But then again...Skip Bayless.
