The video quality is not great however I have re-recorded this video and it seems my internet is just poverty tier today. Mildly frustrating but it is what it is.
  • @usamakhanfit
Yeah this is great. Especially on isolations & when progress slows down on big compounds. Also gives time for your joints to strengthen.

Love rep goal training. I've been finding success using my first set as a measuring stick for progress, and then using myo rep matching for additonal sets, and auto regulating how many of those sets i do depending on my recovery and how im feeling that day.

Watching it 4 th time, made lots of gains because of this advice

This is solid gold. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experience. I've learned a lot from you🙏🙏
  • In my experience, as someone with more slow-twitch muscle fibres, I notices my strength varies alot, even when I have rested for along period my lifts may still be as weak or weaker than if I were for example in an overtrained state, the only true sure fire way for me has been to increase the volume variable on x amount of weight, my goal has more become to make my base volume as easy as possible to performe.
  • Great video!Going to implement this in my training!thanks Faz💪🏽
  • Great progression idea! I am using this for sure. First on DBs. Usually I take the reps from 8-15 because of the big jump in weight. Also on cables because at my gym each plate weighs 20 lbs 😮

I remember hearing similar idea from Mark Wildman a Kettlebell and club coach. He calls it volume cycles. What you do is stick to the same weight or intensity and do sets of 5 EMOM style. Every session you increase the the number of sets by one or two until you reach 20 sets of 5. From there you can either increase the weight and start from the beginning or do a density cycle where you keep the volume and intensity the same but finish it in a shorter time by slowly decreasing the sets and increasing the reps until you can do 10 sets of 10 EMOM.

This video is pure gold and a masterpiece. Ive been thinking things you said but you gave more tools to me and confirmed some things ive thought about. Thank you Faz, i really appreciate the work and your knowledge.

You jinxed that third sneeze bro 😆. Jokes aside, great info. Been conservative with my sets so far. It's a variable that I need to change in the near future.
