Hello Sir, I have applied for study permit under SDS category. In the application form(IMM1294), looks like I have made an error in the employment history field. The issue are as follows: I have been working at a company named LTI since August 2018 as a full time employee. In this company I have had 4 different roles as mentioned below: Role1: Aug 2018- Aug 2019: Graduate Engineer Trainee Role2: Aug 2019-Sept 2020: Associate Consultant Role3: Sept 2020-July 2021: Trainee (Quality engineering) Role4: Aug 2021- Till date : Quality Engineer But, while filling IMM 1294, In the employment history, I have entered information in the below format: Employment history row 1: From date: Aug 2018 To date: Blank (because I’m still working with LTI) Current Activity: Quality Engineer at LTI Company Employment history 2: (I have added a college internship completed in the year 2017) Employment history row 3: (I have added second college internship completed in the year 2016) If you notice above, In the employment history row no.1, I have entered current activity as ‘Quality Engineer’ but in the ‘From’ date I have entered the first date of joining LTI ie, Aug 2018, and not the date I received Quality engineer designation which is supposed to be Aug 2021, which prima facie looks like I have entered wrong ‘From’ date. However, my understanding was that I need to use only one employment history row for one company, In that sense, I entered only the date of joining company in ‘From’ date and the Current activity. My main concern is, whether this will lead to misrepresentation, because, I also plan to apply for PR in future through express entry. I intend to use only the ‘Quality Engineer’ work experience because this falls under appropriate NOC code which can give me required points. My local agent has advised me that, this should not cause me any problems in future, as I have also attached a detailed designation breakdown in my SOP and resume in the client information of my study permit application. Please advise me on what should be done now? Should I rectify this and re-submit IMM 1294 through web forms? Should I rectify it in this below format: Employment row 1: Current activity: Quality Engineer From date: Aug 2021 To date: Blank company: LTI Employment row 2: Previous activity: Trainee (Quality Engineering) From date: Sept 2020 To date: July 2021 Company: LTI Employment row3: (Merged two roles, due to unavailability of extra rows) Previous activity: Graduate Engineer Trainee & Associate Consultant From date: Aug 2018 To date: Sept 2020 Company: LTI But, if I write it in this way, I will have to remove my internship history which I had declared in the previous format above, considering that it was short term unpaid activity. Importantly, Doing so, will it impact my application negatively? Or delay processing of my application?
