Man of many talents, Lowe composed and performed the funky synth intro music, under his stage name Stoneface. On occasion he was backed by the Quarrymen. Not many people are aware of this, on account of it not being true.

John Lowe is such an amazing exponent and scholar of the game... has the best throw in Darts to this day, in my opinion.

Christmas Day 1989... I bought my 9 year old son a darts board and a set of darts. He was so happy and could not wait to throw them... But I INSISTED he watched this video first in the spare room to appreciate the art. I popped in the spare room after 45 mins to see what he thought so far, and he wasn't there... He had left the house and ran away! Haven't seen him since.

I grew up throwing an original pair of John's phase 1 prototypes. When he wanted a shorter barrel. He gave a set to my dad (rip Terry) when John was given 3 sets/weights to chose from. A family member stole them the day after he passed away.

as a kid I was a Bristow fan . Stepfather was a Lowe fan So I chose the other one . We hated each other . . I now have a Whole new respect for the guy . He was great anyway . Hey I was a kid .LEGEND
