What a wonderful movie from a bygone era. Much respect to all the actors in this fine piece of history 📽️
  • That's the kind of man we need now in the Supreme Courts Now!!! HONESTY!!!!!!
  • This was a great movie posted at the right time. A well-meaning script about justice and the evils of corruption, brought about in a slightly funny way. Frank Morgan has always been a favorite actor of mine and he does well in his role here. Thanks for the posting. Joe S
  • It's hard to remember that he had a long career as an actor and was not just the wizard in the wizard of Oz

Fantastic movie. Thank you so much for posting it. If only the stuff that comes out of Hollywood today was half as good!

Great film. Please note that the Justice character walks around town with a shotgun. He even goes into the courthouse with it. I know it's a movie but true to the period. Guns are not the problem.

Great old movie! Funny, well written and rule of law patriotic. In the end the crooks lost the game.

That story rings as relevant today as back during WWII

Wow, imagine an incumbent executive having his political opponent thrown into prison just to remove him from the election. It's too far fetched -- it could never happen here! (P.S. I love you Dale Arden.)

Walking in town with a shotgun and no one even gave a blink at him.

I love the modesty that Judge Grant and his secretary show by not whipping his name and posiition around to get their way. Rather they purposly hide their titles in order to remain anonymous amongst the town!

Wow! I truly wish our present 'Government' Would see the ending of this film -- I think they might just learn some things they appear to have forgotten. Hopefully, all these 'issues' can be peacefully rectified on November 5, 2024 and beyond.
  • One of the most amusing films I have seen In a long time. Marvelous 8 years older than yours truly.
  • A nice little movie with a very moving ending. This was the softer way of showing corruption and how to stop it.

I love those comedies from that period where a great man is traveling incognito~ Frank Morgan was a lot like Charles Coburn as a Washington D.C. bigshot getting a comic firsthand view of the housing crush then. Same time period too.
  • Everyone in America should watch this movie before the elections coming up.

That was quite a satisfying movie. A little cliched, but very nice and American.
