Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Michael Mando is such a brilliant actor. You can see the exact moment Nacho comes to the hopeless realization that Bolsa can’t die because he’s in Breaking Bad.

Nacho: "I switched them for sugar pills" Hector: 😠🥴😠🥴😠🥴😠🥴😠🥴
  • @DatsDoodoBaby
I appreciate that Victor had no hard feelings about the box cutter incident and came out to protect Gus here
  • @blase1856
The fact that last year he was still with us for the finale, now he is gone. RIP Hector

Literally everyone in that scene but Nacho had Breaking Bad plot armor. What a way to go. Dude was outnumbered by not only more guys but chronology too.
  • @NDstd
Actually, Nacho survived and went to an island somewhere in Asia to explain to the locals what is definition of insanity. Bravo Vins!

Nacho is brilliant. He plays it so well that Gus isnt incriminated in any way. Plays off their suspicions like a joke, tells everyone he did everything out of pure spite, redirects Hector's hatred from Gus to himself, and reminds everyone that Gus saved Hector's life. The cherry on top was him attempting to kill Bolsa to incriminate himself evern further. Then he goes out on his own terms so that Hector won't get the satisfaction of torturing him

2:10 Imagine how Gus heart must have been beating when Nacho teased “…him?”
  • @chrisbuck96
The fact you see Mike is about to cry speaks very high volumes about Nacho
  • He went out on his own terms. Gave no one else present the satisfaction. What a perfect character.

Mando’s acting was great but no other actor could convey what Hector could without even speaking. RIP Mark Margolis.
  • @tooley008
He looked around and realised everyone standing around him had breaking bad plot armour so he shot himself.
  • It boggles my mind why Michael Mando is still not getting bigger roles over the past years. Dude is an incredible actor.
  • @Ivosferatus
The saddest part is that he never got out of the criminal world he desperately tried to escape.

The way Mike is visibly affected by nachos inevitable death was awe inducing. Michaels inept emotional attachment to those that are in the game but are still decent human beings is unparalleled. He cared about Ignacio the way he does Jesse in the BB series because Ignacio carried himself the same way Jesse did. Flawed but selfless. Ignacio cared immensely about his family and the betterment of his name and valor much more than he showed an interest in the fruits of being a criminal. That being said, Ignacio and jesse are still two very different characters but share similar morals and personal traits which is so damn cool.
  • I love how he says that "you think of me". Michael Mando acted angry so well in that moment. I got chills
  • @calcal2729
The way nacho said “you think of me!!” Is a perfect example of acting at its best.
  • In his final moments Nacho thought about how awesome Pryce's yellow hummer was and regretted that he insulted it.

This is the most badass death of the breaking bad universe. He died on his own terms, not giving anyone the satisfaction, obtaining a sadistic pleasure in confessing he was the one who crippled the feared Salamanca family, and to watch them being helpless while he shot himself knowing that his father is safe.
  • @armaansyal
How he didn't receive an insane amount of praise for this is beyond belief. He deserves an award for this role. What a scene.
