Those speakers (lore-wise) play at the specific frequency that makes your diving gear explode. Basically, don't stand near them for too long or you'll explode and perish guaranteed (unless you want the badge for dying like that ig) And like someone else mentioned, you don't exactly need to wait for the screaming to stop and start moving from a locker during an Angler attack. You can get out and start moving as soon as the Angler passes over you (unless it's Froger, who sounds different and will instead pass over you three times total) Unfortunate ending, but you did fairly there!
