"Wrench in the Gears" and "Bonk in the Gears" put together with some minor adjustments/scene changes. My apologies if you already saw it, but someone had to stitch those two videos sooner or later ... How about you try to find the 6 secret G-mans hiding in this video for amusement?

Deadnaut model 01 "Great Bear" -The Great Bear was the first successful Deadnaut model produced by the United Mann Co. Armourworks. The Great Bear, designed with Heavy in mind, remains the most durable Deadnaut model to date, with hundreds of reports of it coming out of some of the bloodiest battles in excellent working order. Normally equipped with a large stave as it's weapon, some newer Great Bears have been armed with a Hail-fire Rotary Cannon, an ultraheavy weapon designed specifically for use by Heavies that pilot the Great Bear. Deadnaut model 02 "Marksman" -The Marksman was designed shortly after the Great Bear, intended to provide Fire support to the frontline mech. The Marksman, piloted by Snipers, loses much of the Great Bear's durability in exchange for greater mobility. It's armament consists of four Deadshot hybrid rifles. These potent weapons function similarly to the Machina sniper rifle, however they can be fired without being focused, at the cost of accuracy at long ranges. Deadnaut model 03.1 "Legionnaire" -The Legionnaire, designed for use by Soldiers, was created as one of two Deadnauts designed to siege fortified bases. The Legionnaire is not as durable as the Great Bear, but it is slightly more mobile. The Legionnaire comes armed with two Whirlwind rocket launchers, each of which fires six rockets at once. The Legionnaire was also the test bed for the ABL system. The ABL system was designed to emulate a Soldier's rocket jump, allowing the Legionnaire to send itself careening through the air. This allows the Legionnaire to leap over walls when assaulting a base. Deadnaut model 3.2 "Highlander" -The Highlander is the sister design of the Legionnaire. Built for the Demoman, The Highlander is actually very similar to the Legionnaire, the only meaningful difference being the armament. The Highlander is armed with two Broadsword type 3 Variable arms launchers. The Broadswords have two settings, the first of which behaves like an oversized grenade launcher. The secondary mode is essentially a Sticky bomb launcher, allowing the Highlander to blanket large areas with stickies. The Highlander also makes use of an ABL system, granting it similar mobility to the Legionnaire. Deadnaut model 4 "Demon" -The Demon is a curious Deadnaut. Piloted by Pyro, the Demon is exclusively an anti-infantry Deadnaut. It has similar armour and mobility to the Legionnaire, but it lacks the ABL system. The Demon is armed with two Dragonfire flamethrowers. These weapons, while brutally effective against infantry, are next to useless against hard targets, such as Tanks and other Deadnauts. Deadnaut model 5 "Technician" -The Technician, created for use by Engineer, is a potent defensive Deadnaut. Armed with a Shockwave Carronade and an industrial vise, this machine's unique logistical circuits allow it to maintain up to five sentries at a time, along with a repair/rearm station. While it cannot set up teleporters, the other benefits this model provides make this an acceptable sacrifice. Deadnaut model 6 "Spectre" -The Spectre Deadnaut, much like the Spies that pilot them, is a thing of suspicion and rumor. The Spectre is very lightly armoured for a Deadnaut, but is one of the fastest and is the most technologically advanced. It is armed with a Revolver-fire micro rocket launcher and a Stiletto EMP lance. The Revolver-fire launcher, while lacking the sheer destructive power of the Legionnaire's Whirlwind launcher, is much more accurate at range and better manages ammo due to it firing rockets one at a time as opposed to all at once. The Stiletto EMP lance is an incredibly destructive weapon, able to completely ruin the circuitry of any machine it contacts. The Spectre is equipped with a Stalker cloaking system. This cloak behaves like a Cloak and Dagger, intended for short bursts of movement.

Pretty sad that despite all the years that have passed after this, no one has ever made new tf2 mechs, and just reuse these ones for anims.

This could actually be a spinoff game (like Artifact for Dota). You can select what you wanna be: An engineer (performing various tasks to make replacement robots and exo-suits); a Mech (choosing a mech to destroy robots and collect scrap) or a Bonk Scout (there would be enemies like those flying drones that can damage the mechs but only the scouts can destroy them). So, it would work like this: You start of being like a few mercs and one or two engineers. The mercs collect scrap to make a robot. Once the first few robots are made, it is easier to collect scrap. Also robots come in waves like in MVM and each wave is harder. Also, the players can make upgrades that help them or the team. Also also, when players die, they need a new mech or a new exo-suit. And I don't know about the goal, so you can decide. By The Way, Winglet should make a sequel to this.

1:28 everyone’s first reaction to being in a Titan from titanfall.

This made MVM look more like a real war and i love it
  • Watching this six years later and it’s still a fantastic animation and concept.

Next thing this is just gonna be a plot twist “Humans making Mech suits” “Robots making human mech suits
  • At the time of posting this, this video is 9 YEARS OLD. I legit cannot believe how SFM looked this good back in the day.

It's so cool to see in the background all the evidence of how long this has been going on, with all the corpses and the robot remains. The set building is phenomenal, and it really makes you feel like it's been a long, hard campaign. That Mann Co is really up against the wall. The detail of them pulling a wounded back into the building, the dead bodies here and there, that burned out tank... It's all magnificent. It seems the respawn's still working, though if they're helping wounded maybe not as well as it should be; the RED soldier that gets blown up is seen exiting spawn a moment later!
