The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

  • I have a broken, unmended, seriously battered heart. When the pains come of brokenness I offer them up to God with Jesus on the cross...I offer my suffering up to God as a sacrifice sometimes ... sometimes in reparation... sometimes in just love for Christ. I never ask God to take my suffering. It won't happen I already know. I can't get the years back I lost with my son. I embrace this wound as an opportunity to get closer to Christ. Suffering is what purifies our love for God. I thank him for the chance to suffer. With him. I just learned how to do this recently. I turned a corner. It's been a long 7 years. I was suicidal over this a couple years ago. I thank Jesus I didn't succeed. God saved me. Since I came back to the holy catholic church I haven't had one suicidal thought. Praise be to God! Amen

Wonderful and Powerful Homily. Biggest fear and worry about today's world is that those who need to hear these homilies will never hear them.

WHAT A GIFT!! This young priest is brilliant. Please share more of his homilies. He was engaging, cogent and extremely relevant. My heart was touched as I believe the Holy Spirit led me to hear this today as I face some very challenging elements in my life. My boat is very very shaky but hearing this wonderful young priest I was filled with hope and renewed trust in our Lord and our Blessed Mother. Thank you, Thank you.

I asked Jesus a few years ago to teach me total trust. He certainly placed situations in my life so that I could learn. Was it hard? Yes! Was it worth it? YES!! I am so thankful, trust is so needed in these times!! I go to Adoration every Thursday from 5 to 6. Have been doing this for years. Would not miss my time with Him!! Excellent homily Father....thank you so much!!
