I like how in the earlier stages, the lion was just kinda chill, then as the years went on he got more and more pissed off
-
7:00 will always be my favorite.

I can’t believe I spent 2 and a half minutes waiting for the lion to finally roar
-
So the Lion in the early years from 1916-1934 it's just laying there confused like "Why am i here?"
-
I love that their logo shows off what the do. They had a living moving logo as they are a motion picture company and then when they started doing sound movies they added a roar. You can tell how excited they must have been to add the roar.
-
3:25 - 1934 has the most overwhelming roar. Amazing.
-
2:40 That one looked evil as hell by the lighting, followed by the most innocent sounding roar.
-
1916 Lion: Wait, are we rolling? Uh, okay, um... what’s my line again?
-
I miss MGM. You knew you were in for something special when the film begins with that iconic roar.
-
7:01 the most nostalgic, I remember this one when binge watching tom and jerry episodes on boomerang when i was 6
-
The early lions were so chill you can see the 1925 lion politely cleared his throat in the middle of filming
-
The lion I remember the most is Tanner, from years of watching old MGM cartoons (like Tom & Jerry, Droopy, Barney Bear, and those other Tex Avery classics) on Cartoon Network in my childhood.
-
8:49 the one we all know and love
-
03:39 The golden years of MGM with Marx Brothers roar. If company allows trolling with its main logo, you know it's making quality stuff. Disney would have no such thing today.
-
2:39 that lion looks very menacing because of the lighting and the expression
-
7:00--First the lion, then Tom! "Meow...rae-OWW ft ftt!!!"
-
Here are all of the lions! Slats Jackie Telly Coffee Tanner George Leo
-
7:01 I remember this being in every Tom and Jerry episode
-
I remember seeing the MGM logos for classic Tom and Jerry cartoons when I was a kid. The vast majority of pre-May 1986 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer titles are currently the property of Turner Entertainment Co. and are thus currently distributed by their WarnerMedia (formerly known as Time Warner after it merged with AT&T when it was sold to AT&T) sister company Warner Bros. I'm hoping Warner Bros. should buy MGM so they could reunite with MGM if they already bought MGM.
