A diver's aboslute dream, the Revillagigedo archipelago is made up of 4 volcanic islands: Socorro, San Benedicto, Roca Partida and Clarión, rising almost 3,800 meters above the Pacific Ocean floor. The islands are located 400 km southwest of Los Cabos, at the southern tip of Baja California. The waters surrounding the islands form a unique ecosystem, attracting large concentrations of pelagics and macrofauna, whose abundance has earned the archipelago the title of "Mexican Galapagos". The Californian and equatorial currents meet in the waters of the Revillagigedo archipelago, and the area around the islands is a stopover for many pelagic species. Socorro is a dream destination for many divers, especially shark lovers. These waters are home to hammerheads, Whitetips, Silkies, Whaleshark, Tigershark and Galapagos sharks.

I went to Socorro with their sister boat Quino el Guardian Liveaboard in 2021 and basically diving was heaven. How I wish to do it again very soon after watching this, so many great memories are flowing back!
