I love that that Natlan is more like Gondwana(Gondwana was the supercontinent in which Africa, South America, Australia were one)than just South America. The music reminded a bit of Africa's tribal music

Lumine woke up first and she experienced the destruction of khaenriah and her journey with Dainsleif and everything took place 500 yrs ago (Aether is still asleep at that time) and (fastforward) now 500 yrs later Aether finally wakes up and goes on with his journey with Paimon (i think that part they were together playing is kinda like a what if scenerio, what if Aether and Lumine traveled teyvat together?)

36:00 yeah, in the start of they game they say "in our journey to the next world" so they actually went throughout teyvat before they met the unknown god that fought them

1:00:03 We’re getting a new celestial nail drop location. The only places with celestial nails have circular patterns on the ground. This screenshot looks a lot like the chasm, only flatter. Which might mean the nail was dropped here a much longer time ago than the one in the chasm.

37:10 …… wow, there are people who seriously haven’t connected those obv asf dots?!?! Also about the design of the regions so far they’ve told a story. Inazuma is supposed to look and feel scarred and sad b/c it’s still reeling from the Cataclysm. Fontaine’s people are at odds with their region with it almost killing them. Meanwhile Natlan looks like the people are at one with their Nation, the huge murals and the little bit of architecture tell me the people are connected and more caring about the landscape. Also I like how they show us exactly where Natlan is by showing the Temir Mountains in the background, so it’s across the desert to the far West.

So the Natlan teaser pretty much confirmed that Natlan itself (Plus other lore from previously) is south-west of Sumeru.

they NEED to bring this heat to the character designs for Natlan- that art direction for natlan is simply too fucking good

Natlan is beautiful. Based on African Savannah, uses African instruments, and dragon mythology. And it’s so cool that the mountains are based on a mixture of African mountains and South American mountains. I also spotted an air ballon which may be a reference to South America and of course the instruments were from West Africa.

So paimons very first line in the game tells us that the siblings travel from world to world together and the unknown god confronted them as they were about to leave teyvat and move onto the next world👍

The natlan teaser shows us why they have to bump up the requirements a bit for devices. The environment and the different creatures/ways to travel will be a little taxing on old devices
