I'm obviously a little late here, but what happens if both teams choose the same thing? In the event of a tie my teens were allowed a "free for all." it added a lot more fun and chaos.

I had a meeting with only a few youth once, and with a smaller group we found it better to do 1v1 matchups to earn a point for your team!
