The popular Dividend ETF SCHD (US Dividend Equity ETF) just went through it's annual reconstruction. This is when the Index examines it's financial metrics and weighting to determine what 100 companies will make up the index for the year. Overall there were 23 new companies, which means 23 companies got dropped. I go over the biggest changes and a common misconception about SCHD.

Is everyone just taking the 3.9% expected yield based on that one seekingalpha article, or has this been published elsewhere? Other people have calculated the yield as closer to 3%. What is the source of the 3.9% yield expectation?

Which is the shocking truth that nobody is talking about? You haven't said anything newer. Everyone is saying the same things. Anyway, I plan on holding on to SCHD because it's a very safe ETF.
