The first time I saw this version, I watched it in German, in my high school German language class. I only understood parts of it then. It was my first year taking German! Fond memories! Cheers to my teacher for sharing this with my class!!

  • I've never seen this version before. I love all of the Cinderella movies and stories with the little twist to their versions. The Brothers Grimm stories are everlasting. 🥰

I remember watching this in Estonian as a kid, and I am so happy to finally have found it.
  • Anchorage, Alaska. My mother and sister treated me the same way. Cinderella marry a prince. It hurts to watch that she went through so much pain. I know, it was all true back then. But that was history. I’ve been dateless for 24 years so. That’s a dream hail by a lot of women.

A lot of people hating on the movie saying "it has bad script". People should know a bit of their fairytale history. Most of your fairytales come from folktales which have exaggerated scenarios for lesson learnings. This movie is the Grimm Brothers' version, who in 1800s compiled some german folktales and published. Personally, I like this version.
