Great tips coconut! The fifth one really hit hard, I’ve been having this problem with myself for a while. I think one of the main problems with mocs nowadays is that people pile way too many minifigs onto them which just makes the build look really messy.
  • tip 5 is a huge one for me, something i personally struggle with sometimes but you just have to keep in mind that yes, someone’s moc might be better than yours but you should always be proud of what you’ve made and appreciate your own builds for what they are
  • Great tips! Thanks for taking the time to help me and other lego fans by making this video :)

Great tips Coconut! Love the video mate and as always well delivered. I think the last tip has been most helpful to me. It's hard sometimes wanting to do as well as others but not having the skills or pieces to get there yet and it's important to just appreciate others work and then try to apply some of what they are doing to your own ideas. Comparing to YOUR previous moc is a great strategy.
  • Great insightful tips. Number 5 resonates with me on so many levels. Zen and the Art of Lego Building!

Hey, I have just come across your videos, watched 3 in a row and subbed lol after starting my AFOL journey in January 2023 I recently grabbed a base plate and PAB wall parts from Lego store and parted out a load of small sets I started my journey with. Feeling inspired to learn about moc building before engaging in battle lol I come across your channel and it has so far been so extremely helpful. Great content and I cant wait to watch more. I wish you all the Best Buddy! Thankyou for the Videos you make!

Awesome idea for a video! All of these were great tips! I’ve never used lights in my mocs because I’ve also been intimidated but I might have to step out of my comfort zone and try something new
  • Wow thank you so much for this. It was very helpful. We are just starting to try to build Star Wars MOCs and this is very helpful for us. You have so many cool videos here. Thanks.

I’ve been dealing with some health issues as of late, and building/customizing has really been a good thing for me, when I can do it, but I’ve been “stuck” since I accidentally dropped and destroyed most of what I built (a Tatooine moc) But anyway, this video really gave me some great ideas! I think I’ll approach the issues I ran into last time in a better way now that i can see where to improve
