  • 2:23 thousands of years ahead of technology and able to go lightspeed, Still fight like ships from the 1700s! Love it!

7:16 I especially love this scene. For a second you think “oh that’s quite big, that must be the bottom of the star destroyer” and then it’s revealed that it was just a tiny portion of the star destroyer, truly encapsulating how massive the ship is, and then a few seconds later, at 7:35, you see the bigger one (can’t remember name), cover the other star destroyer in shadows, showing how much bigger that one is. Then, it shows the biggest of all the empires tools at 7:44: darth Vader, much more powerful than any star destroyer. This scene is great.

3:06 I love how it shows the transition from republic to imperial, with the removal of the red paint they look a lot more like the imperial star destroyers.

Imagine how long this would be if he included the Clone Wars
  • @Miratesus
I want a Star Wars game where you are the commanding officer of a Imperial-class Star Destroyer
  • Long live the Empire! And come on, who doesn’t want to be the captain of a Star Destroyer!??
  • @FPSWordle
0:16 Ah. So this is where the GoT theme was stolen from...

Did I honestly just watch a 12 minute video on a certain type of ship in a fictional universe and clips from 8 movies. I love youtube
  • 0:20 I love how despite the clones being the good guys at the time there’s still this uneasy feeling with them, we all knew something was deeply wrong with them and it wasn’t until it was too late we learned why.

0:55 I really like that scene, like, the camera turnes down to show what looks like just one Star Destroyer, and the two starfighters fly over the hull and reveal a lot of both republic and separatist cruisers and multiple starfighters. It looks just so smooth to me.

Absolutely sexiest-looking ships in this universe.
  • @dunnmax1
Coolest ships inside and out. I hate whenever they get destroyed in the movies.

3:09 seeing that star destroyer slowly come into view, and then having the Death Star appear behind it is AWESOME! Legit got chills from it

The Star Destroyer made Star Wars popular. The audience was captured in the first minute of action after seeing that ho hum, another white little space opera ship fly away and then seeing the closeup flyover of the star destroyer. Everything after that was just forty years of filler between star destroyer shots and death stars. Crashing that super star destroyer into the Death Star II was the FX crescendo of the trilogy.

Probably an unpopular opinion here, but I love watching the massive fleet on fleet battles. The Jedi stuff is cool and all, but it's also awesome watching capital ships blow up in space.
