just locate where you have Origin games installed and delete the (dbghelp.dll) file from each game folder (Generals and Zero hour)

Nice catch! I know many people are still having issues with Origin/Win10 and being unable to play these games and their associated mods. (still a big modding community after all these years) As the creator of the C&C Tiberian Dawn Redux Mod for the C&C Generals Zero Hour expansion I will definitely pass this useful information along.

Thanks, sir! Been trying to solve this issue for hours on end.. and now it's just click click DONE! I purchased the Ultimate colelction, my CD's are quite damaged from wearing them out. So, downloaded and isntalled the games.. directx error all the time (machine has dx12, so it shouldn't be bugging) Was afraid I wouldn't be able to play my beloved games. Yet here you are, teaching us that yes we can :D Thank you soooo much!!

Thank you Patrick Lee I found this issue aswell when I did a file scan from CD and Origin version of the game late 2018. I'll share this video if anyone need this information.
