My headcannon is that outside of announcements, when we interact with her, and when preparing for an event or visitor, she does not have a lot to do. She's really energetic and passionate, so she seems happy as long as she isn't bored. This might be why we frequently she is seen making coffee, reading, and going out of her way to keep her areas as clean and orderly as she likes. Sure, she has a lot she probably does, and we never officially know if she sleeps, but she seems to love what she does and seems to be keeping herself busy by her own volition. Regardless, I would like to see her relax (or have confirmation that she is okay with her lifestyle).

I love how Tom Nook couldn’t be bothered to attend the fireworks show but Isabelle felt the need to stand in the plaza for 24 hours straight

i have a memory of Isabelle saying “i hope i can get through this” for a moment on the screen. i really do worry for her mental health
