Barney's entire life was built on revenge.
-
Imagine what Matthew Panning was thinking when Barney told him that. Like "Oh my god I messed up this guy's whole life just because of a lie i told when I was 12" The axe forgets, the tree remembers
-
I loved how he stressed Jim Abbott batting average was bad cause he was a pitcher not cause he had one hand
-
This actually shows how Barney Stinson never forgets how anyone wronged him no matter how many years pass. He settled an old score before thinking of settling down for the first time. Much like his whole plan for his job "Please" and his revenge there. He is a man of focus, commitment and Sheer fucking will.

That's some disgusting stuff Ted's telling his kids
-
I like how he went to have drinks and then had to go pick his kids up. Very responsible
-
“He’s gonna say it again really slow…” “Call. Him. I. Will”. 😂😂
-
Thank you youtube algorithm that's exactly what I was looking for without even knowing
-
I hate how people in this show get a full, beautiful looking beer (which is probably really expensive in the middle of NY?), take one sip and just leave xD
-
This is the genesis of Barney’s long-term planning skills which ultimately led him to bring down the corrupt banker that stole his first love from him.

Ted: Jealous Marshall: Jealous Jim Abbott: Hero Robin: Suspiciously quiet during this conversation about number of sex partners Barney: Hero

This is why you always try. You might fail 100s of times but eventually your gonna get that yes. After that, it’s back to failure for awhile. The cycle continues.

its funny how a gay dude, can play the most Straight dude to ever exist that good :D
-
Plot Twist: Matthew Panning wasn't lying about the girls and was actually disappointed in Barney cause he had quadrupled his original 100 girls
-
The funnier part about this is that is only an average of 12.5 girls per year. For a good looking multi-millionaire living in NYC who devotes most his spare time to getting laid that number would be way higher in reality. The frequency and ease Barney seems to get laid in the show, e.g the perfect week, would mean that an accurate Barney would probably be over a thousand, assuming a conservative average of a little more than 1 girl per week. But I think having Barney in the four digits would be a little too irredeemable to the general audience.

3:06 Oh man , that smile . Something i would die for.
-
The important thing to remember here is that while Jim Abbot may not have been much of a batter; he was actually a phenomenal pitcher - made all the more impressive when considering he only had one hand.
-
Barney: "200... now what?" (Barney thinking: "Well, I guess I could try to get with one who'd actually mean something.")
-
Pretty sure this is after Robin and Barney's one-night stand so she's on the list of 200 girls and that could be why she's so quiet.

The fact NPH is gay in real life makes the characters he plays so much funnier.
