Always loved watching Darts, we used to think these guys were amazing, but it shows just how good today’s stars are! Still like the old characters tho.
-
Loved these guys at the time, but the standard now is SO much higher, it's incredible.
-
Those were the days of classic dart history.😁👍
-
Everyone will have their favourite era in darts. This is mine. ❤ 🎯
-
god-can smell the atmosphere from here.I loved these days.
-
Only in England, could you have a televised sport with the players having a cigarette and a pint.
-
I didn't actually know how this finished and I've never wanted a man to win so much in my life as Bobby George in this match.
-
those were the days, room full of smoke and the smell of alcohol and cheap after shave!
-
A game of darts. A few drinks and a smoke. Basically a good night out
-
Bobby G out here looking like the hero on the front cover of Barbara Cartland pulp romance novel
-
RIP ERIC
-
The game was more pure back then, and Eric and Bobby are darting royalty but you can see the standard has massively improved now, they wouldn't be in the top20 of players now
-
GREAT PLAYER R.I.P. ERIC
-
What a beautiful game ❤
-
These 2 would be considered prime athletes in today's game.
-
Bobby really blew that leg. The D9 was poor but he should’ve hit T10 instead of T16 his last dart so he wouldn’t hit a S9 and not have a second chance at a double
-
Love this. The crowd cheering 100
-
These guys brought magic and pure coolness to the oche instead of today's shouting and intimidating.
-
GB had a chance to take the throw off Bristow but couldn't take advantage. And then that double at the end :( But BG did OK - he was the first darts millionaire.

Fantastic, the good old days
