Is Krista Good in 2025? | Hero Wars Dominion Era

I've been rediscovering a lot of former great heroes, and twins are doing a comeback, not on defense of course, but offensively they have kinda gotten a buff. Ever since Khorus was introduced, Sebastian has seen a big drop in use on defense on our servers, since Ode to Serenity is easy to get rid of with patroned Biscuit and patroned Vex. So a lot of players are using Khorus instead, but Khorus has a pretty big flaw. Khorus doesn't block energy denial (Jorgen, Polaris, Phobos) or any of the marks (Satori and twins especially). A lot of Amira/Nebula/Heidi lines who use Khorus actually struggle against twins when timed correctly (and using Morrigan to beat Rufus), and if you can push Lars far enough back, even some Dante lines can have trouble with twins. While it is not the absolute best team the way it was 5-6 years ago, twins teams can still do a lot of work in GW and CoW when used against the correct teams

Actually we got 3 siblings Lars , Krista and Jorgen ! Jorgen went on a different path of the other siblings.

Krista is okay as an additional mage for Adventures with physical damage or pure damage resist fights. Crystallization protects her from damage, like using Axel on other heroes, but it also limits her ability to attack. You can add Krista to an Arachne/Maya combo where Maya moves opponents closer for Icy Vengeance (and they have to walk back across the frozen needles) and Arachne brings magic penetration. The Arachne/Maya combo doesn't need Krista, but it can work. Amira is probably more common against Ishmael for more established accounts. She's a decent choice as Hero of the Month. Like K'arkh, she's had her moment in the sun but can still be effective in certain situations. It allows newer players to get a good start on a hero's soul stones, which they can complete using the campaign (or shops for other heroes).

It's shame that Water Twins and Fire Twins don't work well together. Also I gave up from developing Water Twins, I have them both at Absolute Star. As f2p player I can't develop too many heroes.

I have seen a few Ishmael teams on my server, but it's still very saturated with Yasmine/Dante teams so Ish isn't a concern.

I usually use Arachne to deal with Ish, but this doesn't work when he's paired with Khorus or Seb

Surely any other tank would do me the same job? But also be useful in other situations?

every Hero needs to be levelled especially in Alliance or else you will never get a good Arena rank, thats why the greedy devs thought of a bogus Tournament & Hero Sets, too sucker everyone !

I am not sure I understand why this is a "gift"? the hero of the month bears no importance on what you're currently leveling, if Krista is the HotM, her skins won't cost less, she will not need less glyphs or crystals to upgrade, we will not get her items for cheap. Heroes soul stone is the easiest thing to get, except for newly added heroes.

Not gonna level up Krista. currently leveling Arachne up. Can't do another hero. Without Lars she's trash.
