10 Hour Version uploaded for everyone for whom 1 Hour isnt enough ^^
  • You KNOW a song is good when you can listen to it on loop for an hour without getting annoyed by it.

The chorus is so weirdly.... comforting for me? Idk why exactly. It sounds like the whole world is singing together.

Yeah, this is the pinnacle of splatoon festival music. The first one (Squid Sisters) was cheery, happy and inspiring, the second one (Off The Hook) was chill in a way, a good change to a different direction with EDM and rap. Now I’m the Splatlands we got a festival that not only houses the rowdiest of squid kids, but the definition of a party, a time to celebrate. Already Deep Cut did not disappoint.

Who knew Indian, Japanese and Brazilian music could be mixed up so well together? Just can't get enough of this
  • as an original splatoon 1 player, this song is giving me goosebumps like the first time i heard calamari inkantation, it brings a tear to my eye :,)
  • This song could play in rio brazil and no one would judge its from a video game and vibe to the sick beats without giving a care about the fact that 3 digital sea creatures from a virtual game thats just a product of hard work and code created it, nah they would just dance bc i know i would Also can we appreciate the fact that this man looked at the entire inkling/octoling alphabet just to type 1 hour in the thumbnail, bravo
  • Splatoon has come a long way since that first reveal back in 2014. I couldn't be more proud.

I love how Nintendo didn't go with easy way with chaos and make the idols based on heavy metal band. They instead meshed a lot of cultures from Japanese to Brazilian samba and I love that approach.

I still think it's insane that the last Splatfest had the players decide what the next game would be based on. The theme, world, characters, music... everything themed after the winning idea. It's like the devs were doubting on what side to choose themselves so they gave it to the fans and made it awesome. Crazy.

One of the strong points of Splatoon from the beginning as been their ability to mix different genres and styles of music to create unique and amazing songs that you can listen to for hours on end.

i’m so thankful that chaos won bc we might’ve never had this absolute bop
  • what an amazing and powerful mix; Japanese festival (ondo/bon odori? but even more upbeat) and Brazilian carnivale, that tresillo beat is soo infectious. Also the way Shiver's classical Japanese tonal singing goes with Frye's south asian (SEA possibly?) tonal singing. I think it goes to show what a good combo this trio is, complementing each others own unique styles and cultural backgrounds

I put this on while doing the dishes and I have never samba’d and bussed down so hard while doing chores

I like how anarchy wasn’t a complete fallout world, but a mix and mash of culture from remnants of humans, like Brazilian styled music and Japanese festival, with a hint of Indian, overall good song. I am not a bot, it copied for some reason.

This song is right up there with calamari inkantation, it’s probably gonna have some brainwashing reversing powers associated with it too.
  • @ravimiano9294
I love how it seems to be a mashup of Japanese, Brazilian, and South Asian music!
  • @chazpk
as a splatoon 1 palyer this song has the same vibes as calamari inkantation, which is very hard to do
