This Dye/Flower farm is the fastest you can possibly get without just simply doing more modules. I made sure to design it to be easy to build, and go through the tutorial in a way that is survival friendly to build!

  • Material list: 18-20 double chests 60 solid blocks 71 hoppers 22 grass blocks 3 rails (powered or not) You can use more but that's all you need 42 hopper mine carts 1 dispenser 84ish glass blocks 26 Redstone dust 3 Redstone torches 12 pistons 4 repeaters 1 off on switch 576 bonemeal Flower of choice And 1 thanks for the easy to follow flower farm video

The redstone is very neat and simple - prowl's technical experience really shows here. It does perhaps need quite a few hoppers to make, but then equally if you're at the point of wanting lots of dye then you'd presumably be doing bigger builds and have a good iron farm already set up. Cool stuff :)

Could definitely do with alot of dye for the terracotta colour variations, lots of interiors to do 😳 cheers Prowl

I’ve used a similar farm which had moving hopper minecarts. Cheaper in materials but it did have a tendency to back up a bit. Though I never needed so many flowers that I had to run it that long.
  • @sleepymiller
Nice video, will never need that much but good info, thanks
  • @RealHouseMouse2
Just what I was looking for. I need dye for my glass shop on the server i play on
  • @LucasS.-oi3up
Stacks of dye flowers in seconds. Literally seconds. Great build. Iron heavy but solid fast collection.

whats the benefit of removing the rails just done it in a testworld and seems to run perfect without removing the rails. is it due to lack or stability?
  • @1Ryat
A nice farm to keep in my back pocket. Don't need much dye yet but I am just starting with the concepts TBH.
  • I have a similar farm, except the collection system (I pick them up manually). Because i don't have the collection system i can make use of the central row for growing flowers too (I have a video for that). The main use of the flowers: feed the brown mooshroom to make the best suspicious stew.

Great farm, but I do have a small problem I hope somebody can help me with, everytime I try to get the redstone to thr dispenser it keeps popping off the piston, is there another way i can try
  • @sashaKpp
Can't believe I didn't think of this farm on stream. 😂..I need this
  • @pinkeyedjim
Gonna use this design to stock my dye shop on the SMP I play on just gotta get a steady black dye source now because I'm too early game to farm wither roses.
  • @shona4780
We use lots of dyes and flowers so this is gonna be handy
  • @thedachmo
So this works with any flower planted in any biome, right? That's awesome. This means, one little farm for any dye you get from flowers. Definitely building this on BMC! I love the utility of this as just a quick station to grab some dye from. And its pretty quick and simple to build too. Nice one prowl!

I don't use alot of dyes in my world so I most prob won't build it but a great farm for people who do use alot of dyes. Tbh I didn't even know you could make a dye farm so learnt something new 😉👍
