Alex Smith balled out in the Playoffs for the 49ers before Kap took over. His game against the Saints in 2011 was all heart

The fans wanted you out and the coaches doubted you. It's remarkable to see what this man did for the franchise and the drama that he endured. The last two seasons were a fun ride. Lots of respect Alex.
  • He just dissed the entire 49ers organization in the most polite manner for 5 minutes

That’s a strong man right there. Hope he can comeback after injury

I'm a die hard Niner fan and I always felt bad for him with all the changes I new it wasn't all his fault he gave us some good memories tho

Cross between Ryan Gosling and Edward Norton.

49ers completely screwed when DeBartolo gave up controlling interest to his sister. The York's turned a dynasty into a laughing stock.

Jerry Rice: Alex Smith is not the quarterback of the future Now, tosses 4 TDs. 300 plus yards. No interceptions. Burns one of the best teams in football. Success is the best form of revenge Alex, don't listen to them and keep killing it

He does a great job of not bitching about SF, glad he's moved on

Alex is a great guy & I'm glad that he found success in KC. We were a horrible team at that time & I think we did him wrong. football fans in general should try to see the people behind the the players. good luck Alex & go Niners!
  • I have so much respect for Alex Smith after this. So brutally honest, and he feels so smart and genuine.
  • @purrwing

As Kevin Sheedy said, "the fans will never know."
