YO GREG! THAT PC FROM ATLANTA WAS MY PC LOL. I had that thing listed for months starting it at $1000 but no ever reached out, I had listed it on craigslist, fb marketplace, & jawa but it never got any legitimate hits. I lowered the price to $900 about a week or two in, but ultimately lowered it to $750 a couple weeks after that which it only sold after i posted about it in a pc selling fb group and it ended up to a great guy just getting into the pc master race so I was fine with that. Oddly enough I learned how to make better PC listings from watching your videos since I'm a longtime viewer of yours (about 6 years). Thanks for the feature and compliments and keep up the great content! I love your fix or flop series!❤

A tech video that isn't about Computex? yes please!
  • Los Angeles looks ALOT like San Andreas from GTA5 Greg ;) Great video regardless

To be honest, in Saudi Arabia, the used pc market is usually way overpriced, so most people use mail forwarding services to buy PCs from other countries (mostly the US)
  • @LizzieBeezie
In Uk, used pc prices are delusional asf lol. 1 out of 100 you might find something decent and worth the price.

Here in norway, people think used pc's can sell for the same as when they were new. Saw someone trying to sell a pc (all white) for 1000 ish dollars. Had a ryzen 5 5600x, B - Series Mobo, 16 gb ddr4 but it had no graphic card.... i was shocked to see that advert xD

Greg, I really love that in the past couple of years your tech channel has become very different compared to others! You know your strengths and it shows, its really pleasant to watch your videos!

Here in the Philippines, the pc market is still quite high but not like way back when the GPU prices were super expensive.

I have a I7-10700K with a EVGA 1080TI and its still an amazing system. It's also my backup PC since I daily drive Zen 4 with a 3070

I just got home from picking up a 11400, b560 ds3h ac, 32gb of ram @3200, basic cooler master fan cooler, strix vega 64, 512gb intel 660p and a evga 600 gd for $250, confirmed working. Just need a case and my sister and bro-in-law will have a sweet little rig for used ps5 money. Cheers Greg!

We have 27% VAT on all electronics, and people think their used stuff is worth the same as new for some reason. They also usually give no, or close to no description. Great local market, 10/10

As someone who sells PCs and components online, it can be a PITA to transfer actual screenshots around because you have to offload them. I'm not gonna bother to sign into my email or grab a flash drive most of the time to get a screenshot when it usually takes me about an hour to write a listing, after spending a couple of days, minimum, building and testing the rig, not to mention the effort that goes into getting the parts. If you are just conveying some info displayed on screen, using your phone is fine. In fact, I actually did proper screenshots for my latest listing and it hasn't sold in 2 months. Yeah, the market may be soft right now but I think I jinxed it by trying to make the listing too perfect. IDK, maybe it is time to let AI have a shot at writing my listings.

I've had an RX 6800 on facebook for over a month, I've never had a GPU not sell within a week in the past. Told one guy I would take 260 since he would have to drive an hour to get it but I never heard back from him.
  • @MrTurbored21
my local market is still out of their dam minds!

Los Angeles? you mean Los Santos San Andreas?
  • @TheBigBazzy
Just built a PC for my friends girlfriend. A good way to start is buy a platform as in a CPU, Motherboard and Ram and then go from there. We ended up with AMD Ryzen 7 5800x ASUS ROG B550 Motherboard Corsair 32 GB RAM 3200mhz Deep Cool White 240 AIOmm Liquid Cooler Corsair 850W Power Supply XFX Thicc AMD RX 5700XT WIFI + Bluetooth Card WD Black 1 TB NVME SSD Corsair 4000d Case in White All in it was about 900 CAD or 650 USD. Shes super happy with it.

In the PH we'd be so happy to get those computers for those prices. Because here if you buy pc parts it's always around a 10-20% more expensive for brand new parts, and the "sentimental value" on used parts are so annoyingly high that you'd swear those people just post it to show it off to other people and not sell it. For example I recently bought an rx 7800 xt, in US or Canada it's around $480-520. Here the cheapest I could find from a reputable seller that has a warranty was equivalent to around $550 for the same model I bought goes around for $550-610 in our money which is around +10% or more.
