Bee Hive inside a Brick Wall | Richardson, TX | Bee Safe Bee Removal

Published 2019-05-13
This brick wall on a residence in Richardson, TX had a couple of holes in the mortar where a new colony of bees made it's home. Luckily since it was a new hive they were fairly docile. We were able to smoke them out of their hive, vacuum them up with our specialized bee vac, and re-home them in our apiary!

    Try ā€œhoney robberā€ā€¦.when the queen comes outā€¦cage herā€¦all the others will followā€¦.donā€™t smoke themā€¦.

Smoke will not do it, as someone below noted. Using ā€œhoney robberā€ and other such aids ten to do somewhat better but

If no-one in household is allergic why not leave them alone? I'd simply invest into warning sign.

Thereā€™s lots of ways to drive them outā€¦or even make something to where they canā€™t find their way back inā€¦.but smoke wonā€™t do itā€¦

Do you have any bees to give to a bee keeper
  • I've had bees in my house hole (wall )(brick) the internet told me that they will be gone by the end of July " which is correct " but they have blocked the hole up with something and a random bee came down a couple of days later and within a minute it was dead so what have the bees blocked the hole up with ? I have looked on internet but nothing is coming up what I would like to know .

I find a gallon of petrol and a lighter usually works for removing bees.

You must be new. Smoke doesnā€™t drive them out. It drives them in.
