Just used your method on my 987 Boxster, got great results!! The recommended scraper gave more leverage than the smaller ones others use. Thanks!!

Short, sweet, and to the point. Love it.

would this be the same process for removing a wrap 12-14 years old? Looking at buying an old sprinter and wrap looks to be baked on in some spots… Any help would be appreciated.
  • Great video. I removed similar film from Sienna minivan two weeks ago.
  • Wish I would of seen this before I took on that same job. 2 days with 2 guys & lots of hard work. Doubt I’ll ever want to tackle the front of a coach again but after seeing this video it’s possible. Need that scraper!!

What is this film? It seems to have done nothing for protection...
  • I bet that anyone that has had a film placed on their vehicle when it was new, regrets it eventually !
  • Good idea 💡 Habib from Pakistan live in Bahrain 🇧🇭

My suv came with 3m Scotchgard, and its a beast to remove. Will never buy like that again.

I just took the clear bra off my 20 year old Lexus. The part on the hood was really cracking and looked dirty. After checking out YouTube videos on what they do, I got started. I found that yes a hair dryer will work BUT I took my wife’s Oreck floor steamer to it and started scraping it off. Only steamer I had but it took a lot less time that way than with just the hair dryer.

How to do know the difference between Diamond and 3M brands?
  • @HerbBaldwin
Wayne, how can I tell if I have Diamond Shield or 3M on the front of my 2002 Airstream Coach?

I'm looking for more info on the UGLY SHIELD REMOVAL. Will this work on any paint. Or is this just for RV paint. I have a 2006 Volvo XC90 that came with the factory PPF film on the hood, front bumper cover and the bottom of the back passenger doors. I tried to remove it with a heat gun and plastic scraper and it got tacky from positioning the heat gun too close. I want to find another solution other than sending my vehicle into a body shop and spending thousands of dollars. How can I purchase this product.

This is definitely causing scratches and swirls. Not permanent damage but that’s up to the customer

I picked up a 2011 camry with some sort of shit like this on the front and I’ve tried heat gun / steam cleaner and it would take 1 year to get it all off. Complete bs
