🙋‍♂️ Welcome to the French's favourite village. Walking tour in Medieval Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (France).

This charming medieval town is nestled in the picturesque Lot Valley of southern France. The beautifully preserved village is sure to captivate you with its stunning views, cobblestone streets, and historic buildings. As you wander through the narrow alleyways, you will feel as though you have stepped back in time to the Middle Ages. We will walk up to the imposing 12th-century Romanesque church of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie overlooking the village and offering a glimpse into its rich past.

In June, the town comes alive with vibrant blooms cascading from window boxes and the scent of freshly baked croissants wafting through the air. The warm sun bathes the stone facades in a golden light, creating a magical atmosphere that is perfect for exploring this enchanting destination.

🙆‍♂️ ABOUT ME

My name is Martin, a Spaniard currently living in Norway. After living in multiple countries including Germany, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, and Norway, I’ve realised how much I love exploring outdoors. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in life and people around me had certain expectations of what I should do, so I decided to start a YouTube channel where I put all my heart and soul into every video and I'm loving it! Join me and let's discover together the world of wonders we live in.

Watching it from Cahors... I still remember before they built all the parkings (which became necessary, at some point). Anyway, nice video, with interesting captions which don't cover half the screen...😉).
  • Thank you so much. I know very well this village. Part of my Mother's family lived at 5 km far in small village of Cornus les Granges.
