In this video, we will demonstrate the function of gears with animations, graphs, and some basic equations. Also, we will cover a few important nomenclatures of gears. The following types of gears will be covered:

1) Spur Gear
2) Helical Gear
3) Double Helical Gear
4) Bevel Gear
5) Worm Gear
6) Hypoid Gear
7) Rack & Pinion
8) Internal [Ring] Gear
9) Magnetic Gear

Also, We will cover some basics of gear designs by covering three related topics of gear profile, gear ratio, and gear pressure angle.
In the end, we will demonstrate all the earlier mentioned types of gear applications in real engineering devices with animations. The applications will be as the following:

a) Hydraulic Pump [Spur gear]
b) Manual Transmission [Helical Gear]
c) Vehicle Differential [Bevel gear]
d) Truck Rear Drive Axle [Hypoid Gear]
e) Conveyor Belt [Worm Gear]
f) Car Steering System [Rack & Pinion]
g) Planetary Gear [Ring Gear]
h) Magnetic Gear Components
